I need to transfer property to my living trust using claim deed. Need to know the specific wordings I should use in that document.

Is that what it usually means?

I live in NY but purchased an investment home in Detroit, MI. I received a quit claim deed because there were back taxes owed and i inherited the taxes; now that all taxes are paid i would like to apply for a HUD home improvement loan but they require a warrantee deed on the home; so i wanted to know am i able to record a new warrantee deed using the deed form for individual to individual listing myself as both the grantor and grantee, transfer from myself to myself since i am no longer able to locate the original grantor.

A lawyer on another web site has told me that in 18 yrs of practice he has only twice seen a mortgage company call a sale due…. yet, i’ve had people on this site swear that it will trigger it when insurance is done or by some other means…. so which one is correct?

I am talking about when a mortgage is still owed, but a quit claim signs over interest to someone else via a quit claim deed that is recorded.

The house is in both of our names, she’s listed as the owner, and me the co-owner. She agrees to sign a quit claim deed because it’s my father’s money, how can she sign a quit claim deed? do we need get a lawyer?
