Florida Quit Claim Deed?
My fiancee and I bought and paid in full a timeshare in Florida. We separated (we never married) and agreed he was to keep the timeshare.
2 Years went by and I received a call form a collection agency for late condo fees. I filled a quit claim deed ASAP transfering all rights to the ex-fiance.
Now I’m trying to negociate payment with the collection agency and they tell me that even with the quit claim deed I’ll be still responsible for all future condo and tax fees.
Is that true? And if it is what can I do? The ex- moved to Brazil leaving all his bills behind and couldn’t care less about this situation.
Thank you.

The Quit Claim was filed correctly. Legally, I believe, the timeshare belongs to the ex so I can’t sell or donate since I no longer have rights to it.
The loan is paid in full.
What is a Q/C Deed?
Any more insights?
Power of Attn, Will, Quit Claim Deed?
I have a few questions-long story short, my father is dying, he has no wills, etc., I need to set something up FAST, so I was going to download forms from the net, get them notarized tomorrow. I don’t know what I need, I would think a power of attorney (whether durable or not? I don’t know the diff) & a last will and testament. I want to be able to take care of his affairs-social security disability, etc., My mother is dead, she passed 12 years ago, he has three children, I am the youngest, but the other two really aren’t involved and my pleas for help fall on deaf ears.
Additionally, I have a house with my niece, I don’t think other than refinancing that there is anyway to get her name off the mortgage, however, is there a way I can do a quit claim deed to remove her from the title/deed. Is there a way to remove her from the mortgage?
I live in Maryland btw, thanks!
Christy
Additionally, my niece is on the loan but DOES NOT make any payments, I pay the loan myself. She was living here, but moved out, she has never paid the loan in the entire time she’s been here. We made a deal, she put her name on the house, and then she got the 8K new homeowners tax refund, she got an additional 5K from me over the period of the past few years, and her credit soared, of course now, that’s not going to be the case for her
I am sad to say.

What form should I use? Joint Tenancy Quit Claim Deed or Warranty Deed with Survivorship Clause?
My mother died years back and left me the house and property I currently live on. I am getting older and would like to add my wife to the deed as well. We have been married for over thirty years. Should I get a Joint Tenancy Quit Claim Deed and Quit Claim my interest as a single person and convey it back to myself and wife as a married couple?Or should I use the Warranty Deed with survivorship clause form and convey the interest in the property from me to us both?
I live in Oklahoma. If that matters. I’m sure it might.
