divorced in 2002 pro se. 15 acres of property with home is divided(The property was purchased by my mother and father free and clear). I get 2acres and the home. Ex gets 13. I also agreed to pay half on the mortagage on the home $60000.00 (a home improvement loan where no improvements were made).
He gets his tools, and a truck. Not covered in the divorce is the money from the $60,000 mortgage which he took to start his business which was actually suppose to go toward an addition on the house as a home improvement loan.

Also not covered in the divorce wereseveral businesses which I helped him start which contained a great deal of assets. The name of those businesses were MId Michigan Concrete Forms, Snap On Tools, Mid Michigan Auto Repair, Mid Michigan Log Homes. None of these were covered in the divorce, and there are assets there I should have rights to not to mention I am now paying half for some one elses business namely his. He also filed taxes. He also filed taxes for 97-2001 after he left. I have not seen a dime of the return. I have also not paid on the mortage because I don’t beleive it is equitable to pay for his business. There has never been a quick claim deed filed. So, my name is not on title or deed. However the divorce judgement is filed with Register of Deeds. Also, in the judgement the judge gave him 1 year to get his tools out of the shed. The tools were never itemized. The night before he came over to get his stuff out which was actually 2 years after he was orederd to, my ex came over to my property early morning and told me he was going to put a sign on my propery and sell my house.

I stood in between the drivers side door and the door opening of the truck and told him he better not put anything in the ground on my property or try to sell my house. He drug me down the driveway. I called the police immediately. The State police responded by taking the offender statement first, then mine. The case did go to the prosecutors office.

Nevertheless I went to the hospital later that day because I could not feel my child moving. I went back home later that evening. My ex was at on my property with the State Police.I told them there were things in my shed that did not belong to him and they told me to sit down and he could take whatever he wanted out of my shed(without a shred of proof any of it belong to hime). Then they actually left to allow him to take whatever he wanted.

He took two truck loads of my property.

Next series of events take place quite some time later.

In 2005 I was summoned to family court for Tuscola County Michigan for failure to pay the $30,000 ordered in the property judgement in the divorce. I was ordered to pay again and he was oredered to quick claim the house and 2 acres, and I was to do the same for the 13acres. He would not cooperate and because of that I would not pay.

He then petitioned for judicial sale of the house. I countered by placing the the home in bankruptcy. However, he still harrasses be about payment. I did have a renter in the home. He went over to my house and told the renter the house belong to him and that he was selling it, and she needed to get out.divorced 2002 pro se. 15 acres of property with home is divided. Can I reopen the divorce because of the assests not covered in the divorce. Those businesses had a lot of assets, and $60,000 is a lot of money. How much digging is it going to take, and what are the changes of success?

What can I do about the incident with the State police allowing him to take whatever he wanted from my shed without any proof it belong to him.

I was pregnant at the time when he drug me down the drive way. My daughter was born with meconien aspirtation sydrom. Could this be linked to the trauma from that incident? Is there any legal reprisal available?

The house is in bankruptcy now, and he still harasses me about my house. He even caused a renter to move out, and I loss income. He violate the automatic stay which prohibits collection of debt. What can I do?

PostHeaderIcon whats the law in purchasing a home in wa state?

the loan officer told me that my credit did not pass and i needed to sign documents saying the home my hubby is purchasing will not be mine but only his and he my hubby will be respnsible 4 da payments that paper i sined was a quick claim deed. so they said that al could not purchase home if i dont sign this document. then they told me and gave us a form saying that my hubby will legually add me to the home title but after the closing and will take 3 wks and so it was noritized and sign by my hubby then they would record it so i can be on title too…..is this true in the state of wa if one spouse does not have good credit bank will not lend cash to other spouse????
